This Privacy Policy explains how OMELO ("OMELO", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit our websites (including omelo.ai and our landing pages), request our website-creation service, join the waitlist for our autonomous marketing product, or otherwise interact with us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Québec — "Law 25"), Canada's PIPEDA, and, where applicable, other privacy laws.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Lead & project details from our forms: your name, email, phone, business name, industry, current website, and what you want your site to do.
• Brand assets you choose to upload or provide: your logo, brand-guidelines documents (e.g. PDFs), brand colours and fonts.
• Waitlist email if you ask to be notified when the autonomous marketing OS launches.
• Communications you send us (e.g. email).

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps).
• Cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel where enabled (see §5).

2. How we use your information

• To provide and deliver the website-creation service (design, copy, build, SEO and hosting), and to contact you about your project.
• To add you to, and manage, the autonomous-marketing waitlist and notify you at launch.
• To respond to enquiries and provide support.
• To operate, secure, measure and improve our websites and services.
• To measure and optimize our advertising (including via the Meta Pixel), where you have consented.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Our legal bases / consent

We process your information with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), to perform a contract with you (e.g. building your website), and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, balanced against your rights. Under Law 25, we obtain consent for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information except where the law permits otherwise.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate (e.g. website hosting and infrastructure, domain registrars, email, analytics, and advertising platforms such as Meta), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Professional advisers and authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety and property.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Some providers may process or store data outside Québec or Canada. Where information is transferred outside the province, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.

5. Cookies, analytics & the Meta Pixel

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and measure performance. Where enabled, the Meta Pixel helps us understand the effectiveness of our advertising and reach relevant audiences; it may set cookies and share limited event data (e.g. page views, form submissions) with Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad preferences via Meta's tools. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to provide the service, to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes — after which we securely delete or anonymize it. Uploaded brand assets are retained for the duration of your project and a reasonable period thereafter unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification — including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted file storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security. If a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information as required by Law 25.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, update or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, request portability of computerized information you provided, and ask questions about how your information is handled. To exercise any right, contact our Privacy Officer (below). We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
